Prague
Whichever trip you choose, your first stop on your European tour with be Prague, in recent years the Czech city has a bit of a reputation as a party destination, but look beyond the bar crawls and nightclubs and you will find a history steeped in history and culture. Typical highlights include the iconic Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and the somewhat overrated Astronomical Clock. Step away from the typical tourist trail and visit, for example, the John Lennon Wall, a wall covered in drawings, word and graffiti which started its life as a form of protest against the communist regime. For your two or three-night break in Prague you will stay at one of two chic hotels:

Berlin
