While you are safely nestled behind the safety fence, a variety of cars will race around the tarmac to compete for the championship. On Sunday 13th October, there are three races with drivers competing for the crown. You will get to see the non-contact Junior Rods in which youngsters from the age of 11 can experience the thrill of racing in a stripped-out MiniRod car, and the Special Rods for adults who race closely together in high-performance regulation cars. You will also get to see the Rookie Bangers where drivers smash, bash and destroy their cars with contact, collisions and lots of laps.

This is a fun and exciting event to be enjoyed by all the family. You can see the whole 350 metre tarmac track from the grassy banks, and you are welcome to bring deckchairs and picnics or buy food and drink from the on-site outlets.
