Perfectly combining culture with cuisine, you'll be immersed in a journey into the wild and rugged landscape, and discover how this stunning area became a primary food source from the first arrival of man to Ireland. Departing from Chichester Street in Belfast at 4pm, you'll be picked up in a private coach along with around 30 other eager travellers and a passionate expert guide.

Your first stop is to the shores of the Lough, where you'll be welcomed by a local fisherman who - from the aged of 14 - has been on the water 365 days a year, and will now share his insight, childhood stories, legacy and experiences of fishing for PGI Lough Neagh eel. A delicacy that is cooked to perfection and served by his wife, you'll have the chance to sample this rare delight before moving on to Ireland's only buffalo farm.

Travelling by coach, you'll move inland to take in the beautiful sights of County Derry countryside before discovering Ballyriff Buffalo Farm. The labour of love for the family will be clear to see as you are wander around the farm, where you can meet the buffalo who live there, and learn how these inquisitive animals adapt to life in Ireland. A unique, memorable stop, you'll have the chance to meet the whole family, sample freshly cooked buffalo meat, and even buy some to enjoy at home later.

Next up is an Armagh cider tasting session, accompanied by fine Dart Mountain cheeses, Ditty's oatcakes and bread, Anahorish preserves and Harnett's oils. Served by friendly staff at the Old Thatch Inn, you'll enjoy poetry recitals whilst tantalising your taste buds just a few meters from Irish legend Seamus Heaney's drinking hole of choice - and your final tour stop - Crosskeys Inn! Lose yourself in traditional toe-tapping Irish music, enjoy a range of Heaney Beer tasting - brewed by the poet's family - and settle in to the oldest thatched pub in Ireland. You'll then embark upon your return journey to Belfast, arriving back at Chichester Street around 12pm midnight. What a day!
