Had a amazing time, the Manager and staff were wonderful, went the extra mile. Nothing was any trouble to them. The rooms were clean. Really enjoyed our Christmas break, Food good, and big choice. Buffet Christmas night, amazing. Thank you Tommy Ann, and staff. Happy New Yew to you all. Stamford loved dancing.
So arrived at 2.30pm after our bus jiurney, staff weee very attentive to all our needs, dinner and breakfast were lovely and the night went really well, entartainment was ok, but we made it what we liked, would defo go and stay again thanks xxx
It was excellent, helpful and very friendly staff, large, modern and well appointed room (#61). Dinner was very good and breakfast enjoyable, couldn’t fault anything at all.
3rd time here, love it. Staff so welcoming and friendly and big shout out to Anya the waitress at breakfast who, with a smile, helps with anything you need. Room, very comfortable - we were lucky to have a large room with a beautiful view to the front of the hotel. The bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced and we were served by a lovely young bloke on the Friday night - didn't catch his name. The whole entrance area and round to the bar had comfortable seating. A coal fire was on and it just was a lovely place to relax. Also a bonus if you have a dog as they are very welcome. We will definitely return. Thanks to everyone at The Craiglynne Hotel.
Myself, my wife Julia and our wee dog Haggis stayed here on the weekend of the 2nd December. This is about the 7th time we have stayed here and it was lovely as usual. We stayed in the Glenfarclas (128) room this time, which was lovely and spacious with a nice view of the Gardens. It was really cold this weekend, even dropping to -15 which made the surroundings really pretty. The staff were nice friendly, and the food was good. We had a few draughts here and there but this is expected in an old lovely listed building. Did nothing to spoil our break. We love this hotel. Full of character and Grantown-on-Spey is a cute little town. If you want an old beautiful hotel, with bags of character and charm, then this place is. We love it, and will be back again and again.
Arrived late in evening, reception was straight forward. Room was quirky, but it's a fairly old building so to be expected. Bed was very comfy, had a good nights sleep, breakfast buffet was of a decent standard. Check out easy. All staff helpful and friendly. Would stay here again
Just returned from a lovely short break here. Our room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of drawers and hanging space. However, the room wasn’t serviced during our stay but as we were only there for 2 nights it didn’t really matter. We would have liked more biscuits, though, to have with our coffee. The public areas were comfortable and cosy and there was a nice sun lounge area, too. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. It was beautifully presented and very tasty.
We stayed one night on our travels and found hotel and room to be quite comfortable. We had a newer room on the lower floor which was clean. We did not have dinner here so unable to comment. We did have breakfast and options were acceptable. Help yourself coffee and tea and buffet items.
