Consultation Format & Delivery
Begin your will-writing journey with a convenient, phone-based instruction appointment. Once you have purchased your will, you will be booked for a detailed call where a trained Estate Planning Practitioner — a member of the Society of Will Writers — will take your instructions and help shape your bespoke document. All client information is securely collected over the phone and recorded on a dedicated will instruction form.
Drafting Your Will
Your will is professionally drafted in accordance with the Law of England and Wales. If any instruction cannot be legally carried out or may cause complications, the practitioner will advise on the best alternative to achieve your intended outcome. Drafts are prepared within 21 days of receiving all required information, following a three-stage review process to ensure accuracy.
Revisions Policy
You will receive a draft will by email for review. You have 28 days to approve or request amendments; each time changes are made the 28-day window resets, allowing effective unlimited revisions during this period. If no feedback is received within 28 days the final will is posted. Further changes after this period may incur a charge unless you subscribe to the optional storage and updates service (£19 per year), which permits free updates at any time.
Final Will Delivery
Once approved, the final professionally bound will is posted directly to your address (drafts are emailed). Clear signing and witnessing instructions are included to ensure the will becomes legally binding once executed.
Legal Protection & Peace of Mind
Every will-writing service is covered by professional indemnity insurance up to £2.5 million, providing reassurance that your estate planning is handled with professionalism and care.
Optional Add-Ons
Executors and guardians are appointed as standard during the drafting process. Codicils are not offered; modern practice is to redraft the will if changes are required. The service includes guidance on executor appointments, guardianship clauses and inheritance planning. The optional £19 per annum storage and updates service keeps your will current as circumstances change.
Turnaround Times
Draft wills are delivered within 21 days of receiving all necessary information. Once approved, the original bound documents are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days, ensuring a prompt and reliable service even during busy periods.
Customer Support
Clients receive ongoing support by phone for any queries. The team offers generous guidance; however, extensive advisory conversations may be referred to professional estate planning services. The optional £19 per year storage service provides continuous updates and peace of mind.
