Q. What do I get for my 60 minutes?
A. An expert that listens to your story and acts on your information, researching straight away
Q. Will 60 minutes be enough?
A. Maybe, but that's difficult to know. Example, if you already have the name of a lost relative, and their date of birth, boom – we should get that instantly. If the relative has moved abroad, we'll need more time, and you will need to buy that.
Q. Which countries do you research?
A. Mainly England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland. However with more time we can usually locate people abroad. You'll need to factor that in, and understand that your voucher may not cover that.
Q. Is everything included within my 60 minutes?
A. No. For example, if our research indicates that we need to purchase in certificates, you will need to pay for that separately (as this is a separate service) and wait for those to arrive. Don't worry, you can always book another appointment.
Q. I need a lot of work doing. Can you take on bigger projects?
A. Yes, and we can work out bespoke quotes for you during our telephone call
Q. Do you do work for professional bodies such as solicitors?
A. Yes. We are expert probate genealogists and can locate items such as missing beneficiaries who are named in Wills
Q. Is there anything that you can't do?
A. Yes – our research is more guaranteed if the family history is within the last 150 years and is UK or Irish based. That doesn't mean we can't help you outside of this, but as each circumstance is unique, we can only advise of a path during your voucher based consultation
