Around a twenty-minute drive from your stay, the town of Ashbourne is home to historical buildings, independent shops and is known as the Gateway to the Peak District or if you fancy a road trip through stunning scenery, head to the little village of Castelton, a twee village in the Peak District, great for checking out caves, walking trails and history (not to mention great shops!)
