Brain & Body MRI Scan

An MRI scan uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the inside of the body.

It can help diagnose medical conditions with greater accuracy, leading to more successful treatment of patients suffering from a wide range of conditions that affect the brain, spine and nervous system.

MRI scans are also used for the diagnosis of heart conditions, cancer, liver and kidney problems and issue affecting bones and joints.

Results

Following the scan, your radiologist will review the images and create a report.

We aim to process all reports within no more than 14 working days - however, operational issues mean that this can sometimes take longer. Please do not worry, if your results take longer than 14 days to be delivered, this does not automatically mean that there’s anything concerning showing up in your results.

When your results are ready, you will receive a full report that explains the findings in detail. If any follow up appointments or tests are needed, they will be detailed in the report.
