Day 01 – Airport | Pinnawala | Sigiriya
Arrive in Sri Lanka and you’ll be greeted by a guide before enjoying an air-conditioned transfer to Sigiriya. En route, you’ll explore the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (open 7am until 6pm) before checking in at the Sigiriana Resort. After you’ve settled into your room, you’ll enjoy dinner and an evening visit to the Habrana Cultural Show (Show Time 6pm to 7pm) and spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Day 2 – Sigiriya
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before taking a journey back in time as you discover the Sigiriya Museum – ideal for history hawks! Don your walking boots as you climb Sigiriya Lion Rock before heading on a Sigiriya Village Tour. You’ll embark on Bullock Cart Ride, a scenic Boat Ride, enjoy a live village cooking experience and tuck into a delicious lunch.) Enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure at your hotel before eating dinner and hitting the hay.
Day 3 – Sigiriya | Dambulla | Matale | Kandy
After breakfast, you’ll hop aboard your air-conditioned coach towards Kandy and, en-route, you’ll visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (please note that short clothes are not allowed) and take a guided tour of the Matale Spice Garden and learn the uses of exotic spices and herbs. Check-in at the Hotel Thilanka for a refresh and relax before you’re whisked away to the Temple of the Tooth Relic (please note that short clothes are not allowed) before soaking in the sights of the city, enjoying a bit of souvenir shopping and after dinner, spend the rest of your time at your leisure!
Day 4 – Kandy | Peradeniya | Bentota
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before checking out of your Kandy hotel and heading to Benota –you’ll visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden en route (if gorgeous gardens are your thing, this one is for you!) After arriving in Benota, you’ll check in at The Palms Hotel, for a refresh before enjoying a splash of fun with some water sports at the beach! Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure and enjoy a serene night’s sleep!
Day 5 – Bentota | Galle | Bentota
Breakfast at your Benota hotel before taking a day trip to Gale. On your way, you’ll tour the Turtle Hatchery and in Gale, you’ll see sights such as the Galle Fort, Lighthouse, Galle Museum, Galle Beach, and other city splendours! Visit the Āriapāla Mask Museum before boarding the Maadu River Safari and watching out for flora and fauna across the wetlands. Afterwards, return to your Bentota hotel for dinner and spend the rest of your day at your leisure.
Day 06 – Bentota | Colombo
Check out of your Bentota hotel after breakfast and leave for Colombo – en route, you’ll stop off at the Kande Vihara Temple, an 18th-century hilltop temple, before checking into the Fairway Colombo. After you’re refreshed and relaxed, you’ll embark on a Colombo City Tour and shopping, before spending the rest of the day at your leisure and enjoy a delicious dinner before kicking back in your guestroom.
Day 07 – Colombo | Airport
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Grab any last minute souvenirs with some shopping (depending on your departure time!) before you are transferred to the airport (3 hours before your departure time).

Perfectly placed hotel - This hotel was perfectly placed to explore Kandy, we like to watch birds and there was an abundance of new spots from our balcony - you just had to be wary of keeping the patio doors closed because of the monkeys! (Hotel Thilanka)
