Accommodation

You’ll gather your crew and climb aboard a charming canal boat from ABC Boat Hire, who specialise in super-serene holidays all around the UK. Once you’ve picked up your boat from your chosen location (see map below), you’ll be shown the ropes by a professional, before you set off for three nights to cruise to your heart’s content! Each boat comes fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including towels, bed linen, crockery, cooking utensils and a welcome pack with essentials like washing-up liquid, toilet roll, a sponge, and a tea towel. Aldermaston Wharf

From Aldermaston you can cruise the Kennet and Avon Canal or access the River Thames (Thames license included with the boat hire price). Nearby towns include Newbury, Thatcham and Reading, with Aldermaston railway station also close by.
